The Real Biography for Lila Schow

Lila Schow graduated from Colorado State University.  After working for some years as a loan shark for a Citi subsidiary, she decided to enrich the world instead of charging it interest.  She quit her job and co-founded two politically educational websites; InterActOrg.com and GoodGov.org.

She started a monthly newsletter, SHOUT!, and wrote a feature article that usually touched on predation against the world's children.  The articles were accompanied by actions readers could take through various humanitarian organization or by using pre-printed letters and phone scripts.

Lila then began to lobby her Senators to introduce a bill that would ban the use of a radioactive element in weapons that posed a threat to children already on the edge of exploitation.  This became a template for people nationwide to use on their own Congresspeople.

When the genocide in Sudan began in 2003, Lila presented lectures and workshops in her community to motivate and educate people to work toward an end to the abuses faced by children of Darfur.

Lila Schow has spent the last five years working to end human trafficking and violence against children. Several of her non-fiction articles have been reposted through various organizations such as Voices in the Wilderness, the Darfur Peace and Development Organization and Democratic Underground.
